Nickname: Jocko (NOT my actual name, and yes someone actually thought my name was Jeff Jocko, unreal but true)

Back story: Born 26.X years ago in the most backwards ass state for driving and beer sales (who knew you had to go to a bar to buy a case) in the US (NJ), but fortunately was relocated to VA before I started talking like I was from Jersey.  Raised in the local market of Reston, VA, I was then shipped to NC for my urban redneck training/education at East Carolina U…..

Poker Background: My addiction to Texas Hold’em didn’t fully emerge until sometime shortly after college, after the Moneymaker Mania had swept through every donkey that has ever looked at a pair of cards.  I fed the addiction at first through small games at friends houses, then moved to online cash games (primarily $1 $2) (Party Poker was my favorite) until the Omnipotent Federal Gov decided to make it much more difficult to deposit $$$ into your account.  After that I started playing tournament poker and its been my first love ever since.  I actually couldn’t even tell you the circumstances that got me playing at “The Little Napoleons” house, but I have become one of the regular stool pigeons at his tournaments, with a Ripken like Ironman Streak of never missing one still in tact.  I discovered sometime last year that drinking a case of Coors Light before and during playing was not advantageous for any reason, other then comic relief (see EMHD definition).  Once the frozen Rockies of Coors Light were passed to Lee G., I was free to start making my runs at the final tables, which led to B2B runner up finishes, losing to MH62 and Hulk.

Game of Choice: Texas Hold’em.  I have no love for any of the other states that claim to have poker, and I dont know what Hi-lo is. I much prefer tournaments these days but will still dabble in the $1 $2 cash games either local or in AC.
